Cooperative Co-Parenting (Through Separation or Divorce)

In Partnership with Family Service Nova Scotia

This program helps separating and divorcing parents learn to shield their children from parental conflict while establishing a positive new relationship as a co-parent.

Being a “successful parent” means more than providing food, clothing, and shelter. It requires taking an active role in a child’s growth and development, and an active approach to parenting.

Halo-Halo Moves

In Partnership with the Town of Kentville

Halo-halo is a popular Filipino dessert whose name literally translates “mix-mix.” It’s made with many different sweet ingredients coming together in one colorful bowl, different flavors, different textures, all blended into something fun and refreshing. Inspired by that idea, Halo-Halo Moves! is about bringing people together.

This free community program starts with a short, friendly info session where you can learn about helpful local programs and resources, followed by a fun and energizing Zumba workout.

Whether you’re new to the area or have been here for years, this is a great way to meet people, move your body, and connect with the community.

No experience is needed! Just bring your energy and come ready to have fun!
